What are airdrops?
Theodore from WhiteboardCrypto back at it again!
Airdrops are a relatively new idea.
Basically, airdrops are FREE crypto given to people who have done something in the past.
Let me give you a great real-world example: Uniswap is a tool on the Ethereum network.
People used the tool for a very long time because it was helpful.
One day, Uniswap decided to create their own token. Here’s the fun part: they looked at everyone who used their tool in the past and gave FREE tokens to each person. Who better to give their tokens to, anyways?
Why is this important?
The amount they gave away to past users was 400 tokens.
Today, this is equal to $10,400. $10,400 FREE for simply using a tool!
Airdrops are common now, but you have to know how to find the good ones.
In September 2021, I actually received my very first Airdrop that was worth $1500. All I had to do was move $300 from the Ethereum network to the Avalanche network. One day I woke up, checked my account and realized 889 new “GB” tokens were sitting there. Little did I know they were worth almost $2 each!
In November 2021, I received my second airdrop. It was the ENS token, and I actually received around 200 of them. I sold them for $5300, but if I held them, I would have $16,000+ today!
